Costume design for Polovtsian girl in 'Prince Igor'. She stands with her weight on her left hip and arms extended to the sides, wearing a short-sleeved, orange crop top, wide-legged purple pants with green loops, and an orange scarf with lozenges of four purple dots tied around her head and hanging behind her back. Gray cuffs wrap her upper arms, and the forearms are wrapped by white cuffs with silver borders and red gems, which hold the tips of the scarf. A large, square, silver brooch with a red gem and three hanging silver ovals adorns her chest, tied to strips of silver beads, tied across her upper body. A belt made up of silver and blue roundels and with hanging strips of white, red, and blue fabric adorns her waist and hips. She wears flat slippers with scrolling points, colored with white and silver. Museum: Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, USA. Author: Konstantin Korovin.
