Medium: bound volume with 42 wood-engraved illustrations on Chine paper, including 1 illustrated cover heightened with gold, 1 title with vignette, 12 color engravings (7 full-page), and a lower cover device. The cover and 12 illustrations are each present in 3 states, as a monochrome, in color, and as published; the vignette for the lower cover is present in 2 states.
